Date Night / Slumber Party

Raising a child with complex needs can often leave parents/caregivers with little or no personal time. Date Night was created to help alleviate this limitation and allow for a couple of hours of respite care for the Scribbles and Giggles child AND their sibling(s). Not only do parents/caregivers get to enjoy some personal time, the children get to have additional opportunities to socialize and play with each other.
 
Date Night is a once a month evening program that allows parents to drop off their Scribbles and Giggles child along with their siblings for an evening or Saturday out. The cost for sibling care is $6.75 per hour per child. Scribbles and Giggles children are paid for by SARC or Medi-Cal. Children must be enrolled in the center to participate.

Additionally, children with Medi-Cal can enjoy an overnight slumber party (held once a month) for respite. Since space is limited, enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis.  Both programs are for center clients only.
